Bringing Christmas to #TeamBrody

STAR 93.3 will be playing Christmas music beginning TODAY, September 24th at 3 pm until Tuesday morning, September 25th at 10 am. During this time, STAR 93.3 will transform into “Cincinnati’s Christmas STAR” in honor of Brody Allen and his family.

Brody is a two and a half-year-old boy from Cincinnati who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. His neighborhood, and now the entire city is rallying around this family to help bring the holidays a few months early. The outpouring of love started with a few people helping to decorate the Allen’s house for Christmas. Soon, neighbors decorated their houses too. Crossroads church visited Brody’s house last week to sing Christmas carols. Thousands of people from all over the world have sent Brody Christmas cards! A Christmas parade was even held this past Sunday.

When STAR 93.3 found out that the Allen family was treating the 24th and 25th of this month as their Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we wanted to provide a soundtrack for them to make memories to.

So, STAR 93.3 will play only Christmas music during this time and we invite listeners to call in to wish Brody and his family a Merry Christmas. We’re hoping to bring a little bit of the holiday season to the radio for an extended period of time in hopes that it will help it sound like Christmas in the Tri-State for Brody and his family. We’re also excited to give listeners a chance to personally wish Brody a Merry Christmas!

We invite you to join STAR 93.3 this afternoon as we transform into Cincinnati’s Christmas STAR from 3 pm until Tuesday at 10 am.

Call 513.542.9393
to wish Brody a Merry Christmas!

Matthew West, the team at STAR 93.3, and the STAR Listeners are praying for you Brody!

Merry Christmas Brody and all of Brody’s family and friends, First, I want to thank you for sharing your heart breaking story with the community. You have given everyone a gift! You have given people the opportunity to open their hearts to be of service to your family. Most of us cannot imagine walking your path right now, but Brody in his short life will leave such an imprint on the hearts of so many people. May you feel the love of God in this journey. I pray for peace for your hearts and spirit, knowing that our loving God is holding all you close to Him. Wishing you many blessings. Maureen Day

i’m eleven, and my bffs and i prayed very hard for Brody, we are hoping that our prayers will be answered and God will heal Brody. my whole grade is in on this, we all pray for Brody, even our teachers, because as christians, we are family, and families help each other, and at this point, all we can do is pray. If the Allen family reads this, i want you to know that even 6th grade kids are praying for you. Please remember that God loves you, and Brody, and even if it is Brody’s time to come home, he will be with God, and what else would you want for Christmas then to be with the Lord and all the angles for all eternity?
