Monday–Friday: 7pm - 10pm
Sunday: 9am - 12pm

I grew up in the shadow of the St. Louis Arch in Belleville, IL. I was always fascinated by the radio and fell asleep every night, listening to the radio. I loved the St. Louis Cardinals, so, listening to games was always a treat. (I like the Reds too! Ha!) I wanted to be just like the Cardinal announcers, Jack Buck and Mike Shannon. Listening to them, I knew that someday, I wanted to be on the radio. So, when it came time for college, I enrolled in a radio studies program in Greenville, IL. My roommate and I hosted the weeknight, 10pm to midnight show. Needless to say, I fell in love with radio!

At the same time, I felt a call on my life to serve Christ. My first radio job was in St. Louis at a small Christian station. I loaded teaching tapes, yes, tapes, and every half-hour gave the weather forecast and temperature. Big stuff! Ha! But, it was that experience that set my on a 38 year radio career, mostly, in the Christian format.

Spending the evenings with you on Star 93.3 gives me the opportunity to play music that connects to the heart and encourages you in your faith. And, I get to share some incredible stories from some pretty amazing guests too.

When I’m not on the radio, I love spending time with my lovely wife Amy, our 4 children and 5 grandchildren! Oh, and 2 dogs and 2 grand dogs too! I still try to play softball and now and then have been known to throw a basketball around too!

Thank you for listening to Star 93.3 and making us part of your life!
