Parenting (and life in general!) is full of difficult choices that sometimes make you wonder “Am I on the right path here?” Regardless of where we are in life, we all need a reminder that we’re not alone in our journey, especially when it comes to raising children. This winter, join Ginny Yurich, founder of 1000 Hours Outside, and the hilarious duo of Emily and Jason Morrow from Really Very Crunchy, as they remind you that there are countless families like yours, working hard to raise up connected kids and live a less toxic lifestyle.
Come be a part of an unforgettable night of laughs, live music, and uplifting stories that will inspire, encourage and remind you of the impact you can have as parents, as families, and as people by making every minute count. Whether you’re navigating parenthood or just life’s ups-and-downs, this event has a little something for everyone. Bring a friend, your family, your spouse, or just yourself, and enjoy a fun-filled evening designed to remind you that your journey, with all its twists and turns, is truly worthwhile.
1000 Hours Outside is the global platform to reclaim childhood and reconnect families. Founded by Ginny Yurich in 2012, it has grown into a movement where every year hundreds of thousands, if not millions of families around the world join in on the challenge of trying to amass at least 1000 hours outside within a year. The average child spends 4 to 7 hours every day on screens, but only gets 4 to 7 minutes of unstructured free play outside each day. Through their top ranked parenting podcast and mobile app, lifestyle brand, published books and speaking events around the country, Ginny and her husband Josh are encouraging parents and families everywhere to fill their lives with real, hands-on experiences and leave the leftover time for screens!
Emily Morrow is a stay-at-home mom who created the social media channel “Really Very Crunchy” with her husband Jason in 2022. Since then, their social media has grown rapidly, with over 3 million followers and more than 2 billion views on their videos. Emily is the author of “Really Very Crunchy: A Beginner’s Guide to Removing Toxins from Your Life Without Adding them to Your Personality,” and a children’s book, “Little Helper, Big Imagination,” both published through Harper Collins. Emily is deeply committed to living a natural and sustainable lifestyle, and she shares her experiences with her followers on her channel. When she’s not busy creating content or spending time with her family, Emily enjoys gardening, foraging, reading, and exploring the great outdoors with her two kids.
