Foster Parent Pre-Placement Training

Free Pre-placement Trainings are for those interested in obtaining a foster care and adoption license. Classes are designed to help potential caregivers learn about requirements and help caregivers make informed decisions about becoming a foster/adoptive parent. Additionally, classes strive to help potential caregivers learn the trauma needs of children placed in foster care and learn ways to respond to those needs.

Caregivers are required to take all 36 hours of Pre-placement Training prior to obtaining a license. Classes can be taken in any order and are not required to be completed sequentially.
