We need to see some really big miracles at our house. My husband and I have both had a multitude of health issues over the last two years. He had a knee replacement over the summer, after having a major heart surgery 7 years ago. Now he has some type of bleeding issue that is causing him to be severely anemic.
I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands 6 weeks ago after being extremely ill from long term COVID effects. Now I am scheduled to have cataract surgery on both eyes in late January and early February, but I also have some thickening of the membrane on my retina which is causing loss of vision.
We have a 23 year old son with Autism who relies on us for everything as well as one daughter who is a single mom of two little ones and has no working vehicle currently. And I care for our other 6 grandchildren several days a week, several of whom have multiple medical issues, including a 6 year old who is just finishing up treatment for leukemia.
I need to have a safe, reliable vehicle to transport them but both our vehicles are very old and neither has working heat (or AC), the windows won't roll down on one and neither sliding door opens on our van. As well, both vehicles desperately need new tires.
I grew up in church, Christian schools, and a Christian home, and I've been a believer since I was 5 but I'm having a major crisis of faith right now. I'm struggling with major depression and I'm terrified of losing my sight.
