Anxiety

Hey, if you’re feeling anxious, that’s a very human thing too. It happens because we’re
humans.

At the same time, Jesus tells us to get rid of our anxiety, to be done with it. I found this
quote. I thought this was so good. It helped me think about it differently.

It’s from Dallas Willard:

“Anxiety is just groundless and pointless. It occurs only as a hangover of bad habits
established when we were trusting things, like human approval and wealth, that were certain
to let us down. Now, our strategy should be one of resolute rejection of worry while we
concentrate on the future and hope and with prayer, and on the past, we think about that
with Thanksgiving.”
