How many times had I said something kind to someone, then instantly found a little sarcastic jab to get in under the guise of “joking.”

Our understanding of kindness has become muddled. Let us not lose sight of what kindness really is. God teaches us that kindness is a fruit of the Spirit and that it should be evident in our lives as we seek to love and serve others.
