Alex Young

It’s Alex here on STAR! Follower of Jesus, husband, girl dad and radio personality! I was born in Maryland but moved to Cincinnati at the age of seven. I first heard of STAR 93.3 when I was eight.

So how did I get into Christian radio? Before my teen years, I found a passion for video editing which led to me wanting to pursue a career as a movie director. Soon after the start of my freshman year in college, I felt the Lord's call into a life-long career in radio ministry.

When I’m not on the radio, I am either spending time with my family, playing video games competitively or riding roller coasters. Speaking of roller coasters, my passion for them has led me to meet the love of my life, Hannah. Our idea of a fun date is going to amusement parks and riding as many roller coasters as possible.

My wife and I have two beautiful girls, Hope and Joanna. Being a father is one of the greatest callings God has ever given me.
