Alex Young

Alexander here! (Or Alex as most people call me). I was born in Maryland but moved to Cincinnati at the age of seven. I first heard of STAR 93.3 when I was eight.

So how did I get into Christian radio? Before my teen years, I found a passion for video editing which led to me wanting to pursue a career as a movie director. Soon after the start of my freshman year in college, I felt the Lord's call into a life-long career in radio ministry. This was exciting for me as well because I had been listening to Christian radio every day for 10 years at that point.

When I’m not on the radio, I am either spending time with my family, playing video games competitively or riding rollercoasters. Speaking of rollercoasters, my passion for them has led me to meet the love of my life, Hannah. Our idea of a fun date is going to amusement parks and riding as many rollercoasters as possible.

In February of 2024, my wife and I have welcomed our daughter, Hope, into the world! She is our precious bundle of joy and being a father is one of the greatest callings God has ever given me.

An interesting fact about me is that I always wear a plain black T-shirt every day. Why do I do this? So, I don’t have to decide on what shirt to wear for the day!
