Chris Adams

After hearing only one episode of American Top 40 with Casey Kasem in January 1982, Chris Adams was hooked on radio. Born in New Jersey and raised in Atlanta, Chris devoted his younger years to music classes at school and memorizing all the chart and artist statistics he learned from Casey. Need to know anything about’80s pop music? Need one more person to complete your music trivia team? Chris Adams is your guy.

While still in college at Belmont University in Nashville, Chris made an air-check tape at a local college radio station. It ended up in the hands of the Program Director at Star 106 WLAC-FM, and within weeks Chris began his radio career.

Chris married his college sweetheart in 1994 and moved to her hometown of Cincinnati shortly thereafter. Chris came to STAR 93.3 after several years on air at several Cincinnati radio stations. He can currently be heard weekends on STAR 93.3 and serves as the station’s Community Engagement Manager, where he brings STAR into the neighborhoods of the station’s listeners.
