My name is Tommy. I'm 50 years old. My wife of 25 years passed away unexpectedly on March 14. She was only 50. We never had children. Now I'm left alone with only my dog. We were college sweethearts, so I have never lived alone in my entire 50 years of life. My wife and I were very religious and went to church regularly. But honestly, this whole situation has shaken me and my faith to my core. I ask myself every day Why would God punish me like this? I've been nothing but faithful to him almost all of my life. I ask that you pray for me for guidance and comfort during this difficult time. I'm completely lost without my wife. I still say a prayer every morning, but I don't feel the conviction I once had when I prayed before her passing. I find it hard to praise a God that would do this to me.

Heavenly Father, You know Janet intimately, both by name and by her character. She is battling liver cancer, hepatitis, and cirrhosis. Although she was scheduled to undergo chemotherapy, You have intervened and guided her towards an alternative treatment for her liver cancer. I ask, Lord, that this new treatment brings positive results for Janet, as her liver is in a critical state. Additionally, I pray that You restore her appetite, as she is struggling with anorexia, which has led to her physical weakness and anemia. While this may seem impossible for us, we know that nothing is beyond Your power. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, I make this request, along with all those who are praying for Janet. Amen.
